Paric Corporation has broken ground on a $30 million, 109,000 square foot addition at Patients First Health Care in Washington, Missouri, the company announced Wednesday.
The expansion of the medical office building and diagnostic center for Patients First will add two, three story wings to the existing 85,000 square foot building. Patients First is expected to add more than 100 employees to its staff of more than 380 to accommodate the expansion.
The new wings will include an ambulatory surgery center; a cancer treatment center that will provide medical oncology, radiation oncology and infusion therapy; additional physician offices; expanded retail space; and meeting rooms. Patients First is expanding due to growth of the region and demand for technically advanced health care services, according to a release.
The project also includes a three story parking structure and additional surface parking behind the current building.
Paric has worked with Patients First before, completing the original $11.7 million campus in 2003.
Northstar Management is representing Patients First. Lawence Group is the designer and Bank of Washington is providing the construction financing.
Patients First, a physician-owned, full-service medical facility located at 901 Patients First Drive, serves more than 100,000 patients each year. The building currently houses 41 physicians practicing in 13 health care disciplines.
O'Fallon, Missouri based construction firm Paric Corporation is one of the largest privately held companies in St. Louis with 2007 revenue of $250 million. |
