A more than 100-year-old factory in mid-town St. Louis is home to one of the largest Catholic graduate schools of theology in the country. Paric renovated the $5.5 million project that is creating offices, classrooms, a library and a chapel in a 38,000-sq.ft. renovation. Paric's challenge was to preserve historic elements of the building while creating functional space. The renovation maintains the historic character by creating loft-like space framed by the exposed heavy timbers, brick and stone that comprise the original interior of the two-story structure. |
