Triffin Zecy Named to 30 Under 30 Class of 2014
Triffin Zecy, a Senior Project Engineer at PARIC Corporation, was recently named a member of the St. Louis Business Journal’s 30 Under 30 class of 2014. “Being recognized alongside professionals of this caliber is overwhelming. This is truly an honor,” remarked Triffin. She was recognized as part of this group due to both her outstanding work on a variety of projects ranging in size from tens of thousands of dollars to tens of millions and for her commitment to giving back to her community.
Triffin joined PARIC full time, in 2008, as an Engineer and her commitment to her work has been apparent since day one. “Triffin’s innate abilities, attitude, and dedication to her profession have caught the attention of not just PARIC Executives, but a number of PARIC’s clients as well,” said Steve Beck, PARIC’s Vice President of Special Projects. “Triffin’s ability to lead and influence others is what has led to her to be both trusted and respected among her peers.” She has worked on several landmark projects including Aberdeen Heights Senior Living Campus in Kirkwood and the recent renovation of the Grand Hall at St. Louis’ Union Station.
When she is not hard at work at PARIC, Triffin is hard at work volunteering her time and talents with organizations across St. Louis. She is a board member of the Young Friends of the St. Louis University Liver Center, a group that promotes understanding and awareness of liver disease in addition to raising money to fund research. She also volunteers a great deal of time with the United Way. She serves as a marketing co-chair for the United Way’s Chocolate, Wine, and All That Jazz event each fall, which kicks off the annual campaign In addition to the Chocolate, Wine, and All That Jazz event, she also helps the United Way by volunteering with GenNext, a subset of the United Way that is focused on getting young professionals involved in their community.
