Building To The Next Level: St. Louis Construction News and Real Estate Excellence Award

Paric is among those honored recently by St. Louis Construction News and Real Estate magazine with a 2009 CNR Regional Excellence Award, recognizing the “best results achieved in the construction industry when all sectors work together as a team, focusing on projects that make a positive contribution to the St. Louis community.”

As a locally owned and operated regional construction manager, we live and breathe the St. Louis community, and in this case, the particular project selected for recognition – the $5.3 million, 15,888-square-foot Cottleville City Hall – is one of which we’re incredibly proud, for a number of reasons. Here are three:

1. It’s Green.

Green building has been center-stage in our industry for some time, and we all understand that it’s here to stay – so what makes this project so special? Well, Cottleville City Hall is more than LEED-certified, it’s the first sustainable “green” municipal government building in St. Charles County and one of the first in the St. Louis metro area. Being green is terrific; being a leader in green is even better.

2. It’s Built on Relationships.

A great construction project – like any other successful endeavor – is the product of both good people and good partnerships. Paric worked with Kostecki Architects, C. Rallo Contracting, and, of course, the City of Cottleville, on this project, and all involved were invested in a common goal: to create a sustainable municipal building of which the community – and those involved on the project – could truly be proud.

3. It’s “Next Level.”

Even in tough times, forward-thinking communities like Cottleville are taking their vision to the “Next Level” – planning strategically for the future and thinking sustainable for the generations to come. As our nation works its way out of the current economic climate, it’s this kind of “Next Level” thinking that will keep the St. Louis area growing …
