Quality
Quality Goal Setting
For every project, Paric establishes a set of “Project Quality Assurance” goals. All the goals reflect three basic tenets:
- Conformance to Requirements
- Error Prevention
- Quality Consciousness
Project Quality Assurance
Once quality goals are set, the team creates an action plan to assure these goals are met. Action plans are tailored to each unique project and might include:
- Reviews of all aspects from a quality standpoint – including project design documents, subcontractor and vendor scopes of work, subcontractor procedures, continual process review and weekly on-site conferences.
- Regular inspections – including daily visual inspections and field quality inspections – to be conducted by a range of team members including the project superintendent, project manager and Paric’s manager of quality assurance.
- Systems and programs – including procedures for the submittal and review process, use of mock-up systems, creation of quality standard examples, “pre-punchlists,” testing programs and quality recognition.
