FRANKLIN COUNTY COURTHOUSE

Location Union, Missouri
Size 27,000 sq.ft.
Paric has completed the historic Franklin County Courthouse renovation. The primary entrance is now the east door, which will provide access for the majority of the building. The Public Defender’s office uses the north entry. There are be two ramps to the east door, providing access to the County Government Center and the Courts Building by angling across the grounds to the corners nearest those buildings. Three flagpoles were placed at the east entrance, one for the U.S., Missouri, and Franklin County flags and a Benjamin Franklin statue sits on the grounds as well. The first floor includes the Public Defender’s office, the Public Administrator, and the Veteran’s Hall of Honor. The second floor houses the Prosecuting Attorney and Child Support Enforcement. The third floor has about half the space allotted to the Prosecuting Attorney and the other half, which is the third floor courtroom, will be held over as an overflow courtroom.
