Midwest Energy in Cassopolis, Michigan is moving forward with construction on a new 129,000 sq. ft. headquarters facility. Midwest Energy has experienced significant growth in the internet services division, which is a major contributor to their new facility needs.
The project consists of a two-story tilt-up office building, a one-story warehouse, vehicle storage, material storage, and maintenance building, all built on over 30 acres. The office is designed with an open floor plan, to support the culture of Midwest Energy, to provide a collaborative atmosphere. A 6,000 sq. ft. data center will be constructed out of concrete walls and a hardened construction frame. The façade is designed with insulated, load-bearing concrete walls, with a structural steel framing system. The buildings are designed with energy efficient concepts including geothermal HVAC and LED lighting.
PARIC is currently building the project and expects to have Midwest Energy moved into their new facility Fall of 2017.
