The 154,000 sq.ft., two-story convention center houses a 16,250 sq.ft. ballroom, 15 meeting rooms, a cybercafé, wireless internet access and a 32,000 sq.ft. exhibit hall. Immediately adjacent to the convention center is a 250 room Embassy Suites Hotel. High standards were set for craftsmanship and Early American theme development. Even a compass “rose” was put in the floor (common in Early American homes).
The St. Charles Convention Center was the winner of 2006 Mechanical Contractors Award for Outstanding Mechanical Installation.
