Christie Judd is a 2016 Honoree for MAC Woman of Distinction
Christie Judd, SHRM-CP, PHR, PARIC Corporation’s Vice President of Human Resources, has been paving the way for women in her community for over two decades. In her current role, Christie is thrilled to be able to encourage a culture where women are respected and can showcase their talents in a male-dominated industry. Her progressive experience in operations, business development, and human resources gives her a unique perspective on how to manage talent with compassion and integrity while achieving results. Christie’s strategic abilities and dedication to creating a positive workplace landed her a spot on PARIC’s seven-member Executive Leadership Committee. As one of two women on the team, Christie brings her experience and insight to the table in order to create a more well-rounded vision for the company’s leadership.
Christie plays an integral part in the personal and professional development of her peers and employees. At PARIC, Christie implemented Leadership Pathways, a two-year leadership development initiative to provide frontline managers with the tools they need to lead a successful team. Participants attend quarterly workshops and frequent meetings with professional mentors. An individual learning path is created for online learning and continued growth. By developing management and leadership skills, Leadership Pathways touches every individual in the company and increases productivity and morale.
As the Network Director for Ambulatory Services at SSM Health, Christie pursued a personal passion to help improve patient care in the healthcare industry. She was responsible for the development, implementation, and operation of five multi-site Pain Care Centers and six sleep labs, and developed a standardization of processes to enhance the patient care experience throughout their entire continuum of care. Christie was nominated by her peers as one of 20 people in the 19,000-person organization as someone “who has made a profound difference for the people they serve in their communities.” This recognition validated Christie’s belief that any woman who finds herself in a position with a voice is responsible to use it to lead and educate.
Christie is also active in the St. Louis community by serving on the board of three organizations. She has been a board member of the Children’s Home Society of Missouri since 2010 where she has been the Chair of the Organizational Effectiveness Committee for two terms and led the 2013 Strategic Planning Process.
She also volunteers for Donate Life Missouri, raising awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation. For a year she served as the second chair for state initiatives to drive organ donor designation rates in Missouri. Working with the Missouri Division of Health and Senior Services in Jefferson City, Christie and her fellow board members organized several community events and spoke in front of Governor Nixon and the state legislature.
Christie’s ability to achieve results and improve the lives of her employees and community make her a true woman of distinction. As a role model to many, Christie Judd empowers her female peers and employees by giving them the tools and voices they need to succeed.
