PARIC Announced as a Top 150 Privately Held Company for 2017

PARIC is number 42 on the "Top 150 Privately Held Company" list by the St. Louis Business Journal and saw a significant increase 2016 revenue due to growth at a recent acquisition, said President Keith Wolkoff.

“Two years ago we bought a part of a company in Iowa to focus on the food side of the business,” he said. “That would be one of the highlights for us.” The company is Henning Construction, based in Johnston, Iowa, which had 2014 revenue exceeding $100 million, according to its website.

PARIC wrapped up one of its largest projects at the beginning of 2016, the $118 million renovations of the Arcade Building in downtown St. Louis. Along with the Arcade, the company also completed the second phase of a project for the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. That phase was part of a $40 million project to construct a seven-story student center, residence hall, and recreation facility.

In addition, PARIC completed the $10.5 million Siteman Cancer Center facility in south St. Louis County. In 2017, the company will work on a $40 million science building project for Webster University, which is scheduled to be completed in June. Currently, PARIC is in the process of constructing a new aquatic center and athletic complex on the campus of Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School in St. Louis County. The project is worth $29 million.

PARIC operates in 12 states and added more than 120 new employees in St. Louis in 2016.

“We added a lot of great people to the team and they brought a lot of great experiences,” Wolkoff said.

The Top 150 Privately Held Companies is based on both revenue and employment rate.
