Congratulations to Geoff Vaughn, senior architect at PARIC, for his new leadership position as the president-elect of AIA St. Louis for 2020! After completing this term, he will then serve as the organization’s president in 2021.
Vaughn has contributed significantly to PARIC through his many areas of expertise, which include sustainability, architectural peer reviews, building code/life safety/ADA analyses, facilities and project programming, Revit model creation and manipulation and much more.
Vaughn comes to the helm of the St. Louis AIA chapter when they are expanding their facilities and the resources they offer the local design community. Tuesday, they held the grand opening of their new resource hub, which was attended by Mayor Lyda Krewson.
In addition to serving on the AIA St. Louis board of directors, Vaughn has served several other organizations, including the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) and the Young Architect’s Forum of St. Louis. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, BD+C, American Institute of Architects.
