AT&T BUILDING REHABILITATION

Located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, the Southwestern Bell Administration Building served as AT&T’s central office and call-center operations. Originally built in 1973, PARIC was chosen to preserve historic elements by completing the adaptive reuse of this former office building
into an upscale apartment complex.
Now known as The Dial, this structure consists of six levels of underground parking with 15 stories above. This historic renovation project transformed the existing high-rise office building into 263 apartment units made up of a combination of studios and one and two bedroom units. The Dial features a gym, dog washing station, and, lounge spaces, co-working spaces, indoor bocee ball, a golf stimulator and covered garage parking. The first floor houses commercial and retail spaces.
The Southwestern Bell Administration Building joined the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.
