PARIC has been selected by Boeing for its new manufacturing plant in Mascoutah, IL. The facility will produce the Navy’s newest carrier-based aircraft, the Boeing MQ25 Stingray, the world’s first operational, carrier-based unmanned aircraft that provides aerial refueling and ISR capabilities, bringing the benefits of digital aircraft design and production to the Navy.
The new 300,000 square-foot facility at MidAmerica St. Louis Airport will initially employ approximately 150 mechanics, engineers, and support staff who will build the MQ-25 Stingray. This facility spans a 34-acre, greenfield site and includes 12 unique steel-framed buildings. The project will require 25,000 cubic yards of concrete and seven million pounds of steel along with 15 miles of mechanical and plumbing piping.
