PARIC completed construction on an expansion of Express Scripts, Inc.’s headquarters facility in St. Louis, MO in September of 2014. This 13,000 sq. ft. project consists primarily of office space, and was constructed using concrete tilt-up, curtainwall skin, and structural steel. Some of the unique and notable features of this development are the dynamic, movable workstations and monitor arrays that move along the floor of the office. Among the finishes used were: carpet, paint, wood wall paneling, metal wall paneling, back-painted glass, solid surface countertops, terrazzo flooring, and wood flooring. This entire project was completed using power from a back-up generator, and was constructed while allowing Express Scripts to continue running three shifts of work daily without a shutdown.
The main pharmacy area is filled with a series of conveyor lines which each performing their own task in filling prescriptions. There is a tour path that lines the perimeter of the pharmacy area. The Owner will use this to give tours of the facility to its clients.
