BOEING ADVANCED ROBOTIC COATING CENTER
The Boeing Advanced Robotic Coating Center is a new purpose-built, secure facility with advanced robotics for repeatable, consistent coating and treatment application on future franchise programs. It is located on Boeing’s St Louis campus adjacent to a Lambert International Airport taxiway. The state-of-the-art, secure paint facility includes one “booth within a building,” associated support space and product egress hangar. The paint booth is equipped with robotic paint processes. The egress area of the building is a large open hangar space that will allow the article to come into the facility and be stored in a secure space. The egress area is adjacent to the paint booth and allows the article to enter and exit the booth without leaving the building.
PARIC’s site safety manager and job team demonstrated exceptional diligence in maintaining a safe and clean work environment throughout the project. Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control was a top priority, with over 20 lidded trashcans strategically placed around the site and regular site sweeps conducted to contain debris.
