PARIC was selected for Ameren’s mission-critical Transmission Operations Control Center (TOCC) project in southwestern Illinois. The new 65,000 sq. ft. nerve center will provide monitoring of the transmission system, coordinate line outages for maintenance or repair, and will remotely operate switches and breakers at substations. The TOCC will have capacity for up to 50 employees, working toward Ameren’s mission to enhance reliability, improve system performance and increase access to more diverse generation sources for customers across the country.
