Formerly a train manufacturing and testing facility, the 36,800-sq.ft. building in St. Charles was once part of the American Car and Foundry. This project required the conversion of an old rail car testing facility to more than 5,000-sq.ft. of Smithsonian Gallery-caliber exhibition space which includes: art exhibits, artist workspaces, catered events for up to 400 people, children’s interactive art experiences, private and public meetings and events, and musical events.
