THE PITCH

PARIC was selected to renovate this vacant 11,000 sq. ft. restaurant space at St. Louis Union Station.  The Pitch Athletic Club and Tavern, named for its proximity to CityPark Stadium, home to St. Louis’ professional soccer team, was designed in a style reminiscent of a European pub. The interior is finished with vast amounts of distressed wood, decorative drop ceilings and hoop chandeliers. Antique walnut woodwork from a famous, now-closed, St. Louis  restaurant was used to created a decorative wall. St. Louis soccer memorabilia covers all other walls.

The main room provides seating for 80 people in booths and on banquettes with all activities focused toward the main bar which boasts four 100 inch TV’s.  In addition, there are several mini-lounges each with their own seating grouping and TV.  The adjacent patio seats 46 and is also equipped with multiple TV’s.
