Building Hope

PARIC was honored to work with Synergy Services to create Kansas City’s new Forest Hill Village Apartments.

PARIC performed selective demolition and renovation in a former elementary school and constructed a new two-story structure, both set on a 12.3-acre site.  The development provides low-income housing options for survivors of domestic violence and unstable living, giving occupants a safe place to transition to independence. In the renovated building, there are seven 2-bedroom apartments and five 3-bedroom apartments while the newly constructed building houses six 4-bedroom apartments.

Beyond housing, the development provides a strong, healing community. Occupants have access to individual and group therapy, life skills classes, educational support and round-the-clock on-site staff support. There are family areas and outdoor spaces for connecting to nature.

The PARIC team is proud to have had a hand in creating a village to support these families!

Enhancing Our Community

Throughout the summer, PARIC team members participated in a variety of events to give back to the communities in which we live and work. We’re proud to share we’ve raised more than $30,000 and volunteered nearly 300 hours supporting KIDstruction, the International Institute of St. LouisSleep in Heavenly Peace and Pedal the Cause. We support and encourage our teams to look for ways they can make a difference and look forward to continuing this mission as we head into 2023.
