Scheduling Manager

 

Position Description:

The Scheduling Manager will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules with an average project value of $250M per year while supporting bid and proposal efforts. In addition, the Scheduling Manager will analyze trends and risks, reporting variances and opportunities to operations and management.

The Scheduling Manager is responsible for the overall development and maintenance of a project schedule in alignment with the Scheduling SOP with some guidance and oversight from the Sector Project Director and/or Scheduling Director.  

Responsibilities

  • Works with the Superintendent and Project Manager to develop, monitor and update complete project schedules on a weekly basis with the support of the project team.  
  • Assists with the development and implements plans to mitigate risk to schedule and to maximize schedule performance of the project
  • Engages and communicates with subcontractors and key partners in schedule development and updates.
  • Communicates schedule status to Sector Project Directors and Scheduling Director monthly.
  • Develops proposal and pre-construction schedules.
  • Works with the team to develop a Baseline schedule
  • Ensures the schedule adheres to the contract documents and SOP.  
  • Participates in planning meetings and coordination workshops.  
  • Incorporates resources and costs (if necessary) into the schedule.
  • Analyzes project schedules and reports changes to the critical path along with other significant variances
  • Suggests ways to optimize the schedule
  • Analyzes performance to date to forecast future performance.  
  • Identifies and analyzes potential schedule risk events and communicates to the Sector Project Director and Scheduling Director for action.
  • Assists with the development of "what-if" plans as required. 
  • Perform schedule peer reviews and audits.
  • Integrate cost and labor tracking into project schedules.
  • Support continuous improvement in scheduling processes.
  • Provide on-the-job scheduling training to team members.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of scheduling or related construction experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong knowledge of construction logistics, sequencing, materials, equipment, and crew sizing.
  • Industrial construction experience preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (including cost/resource loading).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and analyze complex project documents and data trends.

 

Preferred:

  • Earned Value Management (EVM) or productivity analysis experience is a plus.
  • Ability to forecast project performance and identify schedule risks.

Senior Commissioning Manager (Industrial)

Location: St. Louis-based with local project assignments or full-time travel opportunities

 

Position Description

The Senior Commissioning Manager is a technical leader responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading commissioning activities across complex industrial projects. Supporting mission critical, manufacturing, food & beverage, and advanced industrial facilities, this role ensures building systems are installed, tested, integrated, and turned over safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations.

Working alongside project teams from preconstruction through startup, this individual develops commissioning strategies, identifies and mitigates technical risks, coordinates system integration, and drives operational readiness. The Senior Commissioning Manager also serves as a technical resource to the organization by mentoring project teams, developing best practices, and continuously improving PARIC's commissioning capabilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning strategy from preconstruction through final turnover.
  • Develop commissioning plans, startup sequencing, and operational readiness strategies.
  • Coordinate testing, startup, and system integration for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, process utilities, and life safety systems.
  • Partner with project teams, design consultants, trade partners, vendors, commissioning agents, and clients to ensure successful system performance.

Position Description
PARIC Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Preconstruction Manager (Industrial Focus) to serve as an in-house expert for industrial construction projects. This role supports large, complex estimating and preconstruction efforts—primarily conceptual in nature—within manufacturing and industrial environments.
This individual will play a critical role in shaping early project strategy, developing conceptual estimates, and partnering with clients to align scope, budget, and vision. Working from high-level direction, this leader will independently drive pursuits, manage multiple concurrent opportunities, and deliver thoughtful, detailed, and competitive solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the in-house expert for industrial and manufacturing projects, supporting design-build and preconstruction efforts from concept through GMP.
  • Lead conceptual estimating efforts (the majority of industrial pursuits), developing detailed, assumption-based pricing models aligned with client goals and incomplete design information.
  • Develop high-level and detailed pricing for industrial scopes and thoroughly evaluate subcontractor proposals.
  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent pursuits and preconstruction efforts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with business development and leadership to understand client needs and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Participate in client presentations, interviews, and preconstruction deliverable reviews.

Position Summary

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for helping lead the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. This role manages day-to-day project activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to PARIC’s quality and safety standards. The Senior Project Engineer coordinates with field teams, subcontractors, and owners, oversees project documentation and financials, and drives proactive solutions to challenges in the field. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to take ownership of key project components while preparing for advancement into full Project Manager responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, change orders, pay applications, and cost reporting.

Senior Project Manager - Living Sector 

(Based in STL or TX/ Travel to TX required)

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of large and/or complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role oversees all aspects of project performance including financial outcomes, schedule adherence, subcontractor management, quality, and safety. The Senior Project Manager is a strategic leader who builds strong relationships with clients and project partners, mentors internal teams, and drives continuous improvement across project delivery. This is a critical leadership role within the Operations team and requires the ability to manage competing priorities, resolve complex issues, and execute projects aligned with PARIC’s high standards of excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of large-scale or complex construction projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, safety, and quality expectations
  • Manage project financials including forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and the monthly pay application process
  • Drive subcontractor buyout, contract execution, change order management, and trade partner performance
  • Develop, update, and manage project schedules and site logistics plans in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Cultivate strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and other partners through effective communication and proactive issue resolution
  • Oversee and enforce compliance with all project-specific and PARIC safety and quality standards
  • Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including leadership of large or complex projects
  • Proficiency in project financial management, scheduling, contract administration, and subcontractor management
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Experience with industry software platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project or Primavera P6)
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

 

Preferred:

  • LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable building practices
  • Experience with Design-Build and CMAR delivery methods
  • Strategic thinking and business development acumen
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and grow high-performing project teams

Location: St. Louis–based with local project assignments, or full-time travel role supporting projects nationwide.

 

Position Description

At PARIC, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large, complex industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for overall jobsite leadership, including safety, quality, schedule, trade partner coordination, logistics, and team development.

The Industrial Senior Superintendent partners closely with Project Management, clients, engineers, vendors, and trade partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to PARIC’s high standards. This individual also plays a key role in mentoring field teams, proactively managing project risk, and driving operational excellence across the project lifecycle.

This role supports complex industrial projects, including manufacturing, food & beverage, and mission-critical facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day field operations on large, complex industrial construction projects from mobilization through closeout, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and in alignment with project goals
  • Manage and coordinate field teams, self-perform crews, equipment vendors, and trade partners while driving accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and overall jobsite performance
  • Develop and manage site logistics, sequencing plans, short-term look-ahead schedules, and manpower strategies to maintain workflow and protect critical project milestones
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and project leadership on staffing, schedule development, procurement strategy, change management, cost awareness, and field execution plans that support project profitability
  • Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, trade coordination challenges, equipment integration concerns, and schedule risks before they impact project performance
  • Lead quality control efforts through daily field oversight, inspections, turnover planning, and enforcement of contract documents, company standards, and project specifications
  • Support preconstruction activities including constructability reviews, bid reviews, logistics planning, phasing strategy, and evaluation of field execution approaches
  • Build strong working relationships with owners, design teams, inspectors, equipment vendors, and trade partners through clear communication, transparency, and consistent follow-through
  • Serve as the senior field leader on-site, communicating project updates, escalating critical issues, and driving solutions across all project stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop Field Managers, Foremen, Field Engineers, and junior Superintendents while building a high-performing team culture aligned with PARIC’s core values and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite environment that reflects positively on PARIC and strengthens client relationships

Requirements

  • Apprenticeship program, Construction Management degree, or equivalent field experience.
  • 15+ years of commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction experience.
  • Proven experience leading large projects with multiple trades and complex coordination.

Position Description:

The Subcontracting Operations Director is responsible for leading PARIC’s subcontracting and procurement operations, ensuring alignment with company standards, project goals, and long-term strategic initiatives. This role provides leadership in subcontractor prequalification, contract review, buyout strategy, trade partner relationships, and procurement process improvement across the organization.

 

Responsibilities

• Participate in the subcontractor prequalification process, providing strategic input on vendor and trade partner approvals.

• Review subcontract agreements and purchase orders to ensure scopes of work align with company standards, project requirements, and contractual obligations.

• Identify and resolve open subcontract terms and conditions to mitigate risk and support project execution.

• Research, identify, and qualify subcontractors and vendors in new geographic markets.

• Provide strategic input on bidder selection and subcontractor/vendor shortlists for upcoming projects.

• Drive buyout strategy and procurement efficiencies across multiple projects to maximize financial performance and operational execution.

• Ensure project teams provide timely communication to non-selected subcontractors and vendors at the conclusion of buyout activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships within the subcontractor and vendor community to strengthen trade partner partnerships.

• Ensure subcontractor scopes of work align with PARIC standards and project contract requirements.

• Hold buyout teams accountable for the quality, consistency, and timeliness of procurement activities.

• Communicate buyout status and procurement updates to project teams and company leadership.

• Partner with Legal, Risk Management, and Accounting to ensure subcontract procurement complies with company standards.

• Develop and manage project buyout schedules, assign responsibilities, and track procurement progress through the full buyout phase.

• Ensure Trade Partner Code of Conduct standards are consistently upheld across all projects.

• Lead implementation of technology solutions that support centralized procurement initiatives.

• Lead negotiations of Master Subcontract Agreements and standard subcontract riders.

• Develop and implement alternative contract formats including short-form subcontracts, field-level change orders, and service agreements.

• Ensure centralized procurement strategies align with the long-term goals of PARIC.

 

Skills and Experience

• 12+ years of construction industry experience required.

• Strong knowledge of subcontracting, purchase orders, and commercial construction trades.

• Strong understanding of business terms, contract language, and risk management principles.
