Assistant Safety Manager (Living Sector)

Job Summary

The Assistant Safety Manager supports the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of PARIC’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across active construction projects. This role partners closely with Safety Managers, project leadership, superintendents, and trade partners to help drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with PARIC standards and OSHA regulations.

In this position, the Assistant Safety Manager plays a key role in field-level safety oversight, contributing to inspections, training, incident prevention, and reporting while supporting the overall safety strategy on assigned projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional to expand their impact, take on increased responsibility, and continue growing within a high-performing construction environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of PARIC’s HSE Management System to meet project-specific needs
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and supporting Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), including review of trade partner safety plans
  • Understands safety programs and assist project team in development and review of SSSP to follow PARIC and owner safety policies.
  • Participate in and support Pre-Task Planning (PTP) meetings with PARIC teams and trade partners
  • Assist with lift plan reviews and other project-specific safety plans
  • Build working knowledge of construction sequencing and building processes to better identify and mitigate safety risks
  • Ensures compliance to all PARIC and Federal and state safety regulations
  • Communicate PARIC safety policies and expectations clearly to project teams, trade partners, and craft professionals
  • Support project teams in maintaining compliance with PARIC safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Establish consistent communication with supervision and craft regarding project safety culture, observations, and performance
  • Assist supervision and employees with planning work activities, focusing on hazard identification and risk mitigation

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field OR equivalent job experience
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification required
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction safety, field operations, or a related role
  • Strong desire to learn construction processes and safety best practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from craft professionals to project leadership

Position Description:

As a Cost Manager, you will be responsible for cost control and financial management of a construction program. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that projects within the program are completed within budget and in accordance with financial requirements. You will have opportunities to advance into senior roles in project management or specialized cost management areas. Additionally, there are opportunities within the program to develop additional means of cost control and financial management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update cost plans and budgets for construction projects
  • Analyze cost forecasts, variances, and risks, and develop measures to achieve cost savings

Position Description:

The CRM & Commercial Analytics Manager is a hybrid business and technical leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this position plays a critical role in aligning business development, marketing, preconstruction, and operations through integrated systems, standardized processes, and actionable analytics.

Responsibilities

Construction Data & Business Intelligence

  • Establish and govern a single source of truth for pipeline, backlog, and performance metrics across CRM, ERP, and financial systems

We are looking for an Electrical Preconstruction Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for leading the electrical preconstruction process from conceptual estimating through design development and turnover to operations. The Electrical Preconstruction Manager will collaborate closely with owners, design partners, subcontractors, and internal project teams to develop accurate budgets, identify project risks, and drive strategic planning for complex commercial and industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical estimating and preconstruction efforts through all phases of design development

Industrial Senior Superintendent
Location: St. Louis–based with local project assignments, or full-time travel role supporting projects nationwide.

 

Position Description

At PARIC, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large, complex industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for overall jobsite leadership, including safety, quality, schedule, trade partner coordination, logistics, and team development.

The Industrial Senior Superintendent partners closely with Project Management, clients, engineers, vendors, and trade partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to PARIC’s high standards. This individual also plays a key role in mentoring field teams, proactively managing project risk, and driving operational excellence across the project lifecycle.

This role supports complex industrial projects, including manufacturing, food & beverage, and mission-critical facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day field operations on large, complex industrial construction projects from mobilization through closeout, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and in alignment with project goals
  • Manage and coordinate field teams, self-perform crews, equipment vendors, and trade partners while driving accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and overall jobsite performance
  • Develop and manage site logistics, sequencing plans, short-term look-ahead schedules, and manpower strategies to maintain workflow and protect critical project milestones
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and project leadership on staffing, schedule development, procurement strategy, change management, cost awareness, and field execution plans that support project profitability

Industrial Senior Superintendent
Location: St. Louis–based with local project assignments, or full-time travel role supporting projects nationwide.

 

Position Description

At PARIC, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large, complex industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for overall jobsite leadership, including safety, quality, schedule, trade partner coordination, logistics, and team development.

The Industrial Senior Superintendent partners closely with Project Management, clients, engineers, vendors, and trade partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to PARIC’s high standards. This individual also plays a key role in mentoring field teams, proactively managing project risk, and driving operational excellence across the project lifecycle.

This role supports complex industrial projects, including manufacturing, food & beverage, and mission-critical facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day field operations on large, complex industrial construction projects from mobilization through closeout, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and in alignment with project goals
  • Manage and coordinate field teams, self-perform crews, equipment vendors, and trade partners while driving accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and overall jobsite performance
  • Develop and manage site logistics, sequencing plans, short-term look-ahead schedules, and manpower strategies to maintain workflow and protect critical project milestones
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and project leadership on staffing, schedule development, procurement strategy, change management, cost awareness, and field execution plans that support project profitability
  • Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, trade coordination challenges, equipment integration concerns, and schedule risks before they impact project performance
  • Lead quality control efforts through daily field oversight, inspections, turnover planning, and enforcement of contract documents, company standards, and project specifications
  • Support preconstruction activities including constructability reviews, bid reviews, logistics planning, phasing strategy, and evaluation of field execution approaches
  • Build strong working relationships with owners, design teams, inspectors, equipment vendors, and trade partners through clear communication, transparency, and consistent follow-through
  • Serve as the senior field leader on-site, communicating project updates, escalating critical issues, and driving solutions across all project stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop Field Managers, Foremen, Field Engineers, and junior Superintendents while building a high-performing team culture aligned with PARIC’s core values and safety standards

Position Description

We are looking for an Industrial Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for leading field operations on complex industrial construction projects, including manufacturing, food & beverage, and mission-critical facilities.

MEP Field Engineer II
Location: St. Louis–based with local project travel or full-time traveler

 

Position Description:

We are looking for an MEP Field Engineer II to join our team. This role supports both field operations and project management teams in the successful execution of commercial construction projects, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The MEP Field Engineer II will spend time in the field assisting Superintendents and time in the office supporting Project Managers while continuing to develop technical knowledge and construction management experience.

This role supports complex industrial projects, including manufacturing and food & beverage facilities, as well as mission-critical data centers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers with daily project operations and coordination activities
  • Support coordination of MEP trade partners including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection contractors
  • Participate in project meetings, site walks, and coordination discussions
  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, and tracking logs
  • Assist with material tracking, procurement coordination, and project reporting
  • Support Look-Ahead Scheduling and short-term project planning activities
  • Help track project progress and communicate schedule updates to project teams
  • Support cost tracking efforts and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Assist with trade partner bid solicitations, scope reviews, buyout activities, and compliance tracking
  • Collaborate with project teams to help resolve scope gaps and field coordination issues
  • Help monitor quality standards and support QA/QC processes on-site
  • Assist in identifying and resolving field issues to support schedule and project performance
  • Support enforcement of OSHA and company safety standards on the jobsite
  • Begin taking ownership of smaller tasks and responsibilities with minimal daily oversight
