MERCEDES BENZ OF ST. LOUIS

PARIC completed construction on the new Mercedes Benz of St. Louis car dealership in St. Louis, MO. The facility was relocated from its former location in Ellisville to be more centrally located for customers. Much of the facility, including the service garage, was constructed underground due to limitations on above-ground space on an urban site. The structure consists of a 60,000 sq. ft. cast-in-place concrete design for the service area and showroom and a 34,000 sq. ft. parking garage for the storage of additional vehicles.

MERCEDES BENZ OF ST. LOUIS CREATIVE SITE PLANNING

Due to 24 feet of elevation change in a tight area, the project required creative site planning and multiple floor levels to address the client’s various operational needs. The design honors the corporate prototype while modifying the design enough to create an independent look. The building’s exterior comprises curtain wall and metal panel systems, and the interior consists of a mix of exposed steel and high-end finishes.

OTHER COMMERCIAL PROJECTS BY PARIC

As a commercial builder, PARIC has finished many other projects in St. Louis. We have also been busy building commercial properties in many other cities nationwide. We made the Belterra Park Gaming & Entertainment Center in Cincinnati, OH, the River City Casino project in South St. Louis County, Missouri, and the Lofts of Washington University on the Delmar Loop. The Lofts of Washington University consist of over 200 apartments, a grocery store named United Provisions, the Peacock Diner and underground parking. The parking consists of over 200 parking spaces.

PARIC self-performed the concrete package as well as the carpentry work.

This space has been specifically designed for Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser Brew House, a world-class Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum with a Cardinals-themed restaurant and a seating deck overlooking the Stadium. These destination venues are connected by a public event space known as FOX Sports Midwest Live!

JOHN BURROUGHS SCHOOL

This LEED Silver project included Haertter Hall for the Performing Arts/Assembly, an athletic center, a common area and a renovated quadrangle.

The new 53,000 sq. ft. Haertter Hall is a smart building that meets the specific acoustical needs of the music and theatre programs. Designed with a main floor and balcony, the building seats 700 students and faculty for morning assemblies and major productions. The balcony can be closed off to create a more intimate space for smaller productions and meetings.

The 60,000 sq.ft. athletic center features a multi-level gymnasium to accommodate 600-800 spectators, a weight room and fitness center with cardio equipment, additional locker room spaces, team meeting rooms, office space and equipment rooms.

The Cissel Center and Commons included the renovation of the bookstore, the college counseling office and several administrative offices.

The Quadrangle was reoriented on an east-west axis and expanded three-fold to provide more green space in the center of campus for student gatherings.

Sitework included utility relocation and under-drain system implementation to accommodate existing soil conditions. Phase 2 included renovating the old pool space into four regulation squash courts with flexible playing space and a viewing area.

A new 50,000 sq. ft. parking lot with 150 parking spaces was added with associated site work, LED parking lot lighting, security cameras, and striping.
